        Sheryl M. Larsen is president and founder of Sheryl M. Larsen, Inc.(www.smlsql.com), a firm specializing
        in Advanced DB2 Consulting and Education. She is an internationally recognized researcher, consultant and
        lecturer, specializing in DB2 and is known for her extensive expertise in SQL. Sheryl has over 20 years experience
        in DB2, has published many articles, several popular DB2 posters, and co-authored a book, DB2 Answers,
        Osborne-McGraw-Hill, 1999. She was selected as a keynote speaker for the IDUG Asia Pacific 2002 Conference and is
        frequently asked to keynote DB2 tool vendor’s world wide events. She was voted into the IDUG “Speaker Hall of Fame”
        in 2001 and was the Executive Editor of the IDUG Solutions Journal magazine 1997-2000. Currently, she is President
        of the Midwest Database Users Group (www.mwdug.org), and a member of IBM’s DB2 Gold Consultants program.

        New Cool SQL Enhancements in DB2 for z/OS Version 8

        DB2 V8 introduced many new SQL enhancements including:

          Identity column enhancements

        John Iczkovits is a Consulting IT Specialist with IBM Advanced Technical Support (Dallas Systems Center)
        Americas. John provides DB2 for z/OS and OS/390 technical support and consulting services. His areas of expertise
        include DB2 data sharing, performance, and availability. His work in IBM includes experience supporting DB2 as a
        Systems Engineer, Database Administrator, IT Specialist, Consultant, and project lead. He has an operations background
        and more than 25 years of IT experience, ranging from database products such as DB2 and IMS to MVS systems support,
        including storage management. He has also co-authored IBM redbooks, white papers, and presented at SHARE, the DB2
        Tech Conference, and at local DB2 users groups.

        Kevin Harrison, IBM - West Region Technical Sales Support for DB2 zSeries

        Kevin Harrison is a Certified Senior I/T Architect with broad experience in application development, database
        management systems, architecture development, technical infrastructures, and system integration. He is
        responsible for pre/post sales technical consulting for DB2 on zSeries in the West region. Kevin draws on
        a wide range of experience from 23 years of involvement with DB2 on large systems, with 17 of those years
        at IBM as a DB2 technical specialist. Kevin has served as a DB2 educator, led many DB2 design/implementation
        reviews, and DB2/zSeries performance and tuning engagements. Kevin serves as an IBM liaison to several
        regional DB2 user groups. Kevin is certified in several disciplines for DB2 on z/OS and currently is a member
        of the IBM North American I/T Architect Certification board, IBM zChampions, IBM Americas Data Management
        technical competency, and the DB2 for z/OS Performance review board.
